I am a wife, mother, marketer, and author. I was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids, a small town in eastern North Carolina, surrounded by beautiful trees and farmland. I received a Bachelor's in Business from Winston-Salem State University, a historically black college. And, later, I went on to receive an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

With a passion for education, literature, and diversity, I founded the Zayzay Literary Co. to allow me to freely create and support others in their publishing journey. As an author, I seek to write stories that expand mindsets on the BIPOC experience.
